Primary 4-7 were given a great talk by some Aberdeen Football Club coaches last Wednesday. The talk was about track safety and how to stay safe in and around train stations and railway tracks. At the start of the presentation we were asked questions about railway safety. We learned how many football pitches it takes for a train to stop. It is twenty! We also learned about how much electricity is present in a train track and it is three times as much as you have in your house. The railway track runs close to the school but we never realised how dangerous it could be.
