This week in Cookery Club, we were learning how to make Flautas! They are a Mexican dish that are similar to enchiladas and are so easy to make. Our flautas were made up of a mixture of our own salsa that we made, cooked chicken, cream cheese and grated cheese. We then rolled up the mixture with flour tortillas and took them home to bake in the oven.
We needed to be very careful when making our salsa as we used knives to chop up our tomatoes and chilies!
